So you’ve booked in your for your electric roller garage door installation with us, here’s what you need to do before we arrive at your home on the big day of your install to prepare for your new roller garage door.
How you can prepare with these easy steps.
We like to make the process as easy and as smooth as possible for our customers that’s why by following these simple steps we can take up even less of your time and your new electric garage door will be ready to roll in no time.
Make sure you’re home
Your time is precious and so is ours, we please ask all of our customers to ensure that they will be home on the day and time of the install.
Clear the area around the garage door
Now we don’t require you to do a huge clear out of your garage (don’t panic!) but what we do ask is that you ensure the area around the door is clear and there is enough room for our fitters to carry out their work comfortably. This may involve moving any objects around the garage door further back into your garage or even into your home for the time being just so our fitters can move around easily and not have to move your belongings themselves!
Move your vehicles
If you park your vehicle/s inside your garage or on your driveway we ask that you park them in a spot outside on the street whilst we carry out your work. This is so our fitters can move their van as close to the garage as they need to install your new door. We don’t want your vehicle getting damaged and we don’t want our fitters doing themselves an injury by having to carry equipment long distances. So, we please ask you to move your vehicles just whilst they install your door so they can fit theirs in.
Let the neighbours know
We always work as quietly and as efficiently as we can, but we always think it doesn’t hurt to let the neighbours know you’re having work done. So, this is something you may want to think about doing before we arrive.
Prepare questions for the fitters beforehand
Please don’t hesitate to ask our fitters any questions you may have about your new door, they are very friendly and will be more than happy to help in any way they can.
